Covid-19 (SARS-CoV-2) Antibodies:
This test consist of a blood test and will allow you to know if you have been exposed to the virus previously. This is not a diagnostic test.
The body can take from 1 to 3 weeks after the infection to develop antibodies. Therefore, it is recommended to wait at least 14 days after the exposure or the first symptoms to undertake this test.
Covid-19 (SARS-CoV-2) PCR:
The test consist of a nasal/throat swab.
Samples should be taken between 1-5 days after your first symptoms/exposure. It will allow you to know if the virus is present in your respiratory tract at the time of the test.
